Hepatitis Awareness Month

Last Date:

May is Hepatitis Awareness Month

Hepatitis is a medical condition characterized by the inflammation of the liver. Often times initially occurring with few or no symptoms, many individuals remain unaware of their infection status until they get very sick. This may include cirrhosis and liver cancer. Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C viral infections are the most common causes of hepatitis in the United States.
