On September 26, 2015 at 9 am please join Mayor Muriel Bowser along with Dr. LaQuandra Nesbitt, Director of the DC Department of Health (DOH), Mr. Keith Anderson, Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and your Ward 3 FitDC Coach Philip Thomas at the Chevy Chase Recreation Center to participate in a 1.5 mile walk in and around your neighborhoods as part of the FitDC health and wellness initiative. This effort is part of the Mayor’s commitment to a fresh start in health and wellness in Washington, DC. and aims to encourage  residents to live a healthier lifestyle by linking them to nutrition and physical fitness resources in their communities, including FitDC coaches who can offer guidance on making healthy lifestyle choices.
