Health Regulations Licensing Administration is mandated to license Nurse Staffing Agencies. A Nurse Staffing Agency is any person, firm, corporation, partnership, or other business entity engaged in the business of providing or referring nursing personnel to health care facilities or agencies, or to individuals, for the purpose of rendering temporary nursing services within the District of Columbia.
