Beginning with the 2011 renewal, all Health Professionals licensed/certified/registered in the District of Columbia will be required to complete Criminal Background Checks.
During the 2011 renewal period Criminal Background Checks will be required for LPNs who have not completed a CBC to be licensed by the DC Board of Nursing. LPNs applying for new licensure after January 3, 2011 will not be required to undergo another CBC.
