Food Establishment Closures and Restorations

Closures and restorations for the period of June 4, 2012 through June 8, 2012.

The following are the closures and restorations for the period of June 4, 2012 through June 8, 2012. Should you have any questions, feel free to call the Food Safety Division at (202) 535-2180.

If you would like to file a complaint against a food establishment in the District of Columbia, please call (202) 535-2180 during normal business hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

To report suspected or confirmed cases of food borne illness, please contact the Bureau of Epidemiology at (202) 442-9371.

  • Failing to minimize the presence of vermin on the premises.

  • Operating a food establishment with incorrect hot/cold holding temperatures which do not comply with the DC Food Code and cannot be corrected during the inspection duration.
  • Failure to comply with notice for DC Issued Certified Food Protection Manager on duty.
Marriott Wardman Park Pool 2660 Woodley Rd., NW 06/08/2012 2 imminent health hazard
  • Operating a public pool without a DC Certified   Pool Operator on duty.
  • Operating a public pool while the water level   is below skimmer line and recirculation      system is in disrepair.
  •  Personnel unable to provide certification of 
    Certified aquatic life guarding and CPR      training.
  • Operating a public pool while under notice to     close the pool (issued 6/8/2012) by  the        Department of Health for imminent health
    hazard to the public.
