NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to 22-B DCMR § 4302.1, the District of Columbia State Health Planning and Development Agency ("SHPDA") will hold a public hearing on East End Sub’s Certificate of Need Application (Certificate of Need Registration No. 2024-0-02) for the Construction of a Free-Standing Emergency Department.

The hearing will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. using Webex Conferencing.  Please send an email to [email protected] to register for the public hearing and receive a link to the WebEx Conferencing.

Testimony from affected persons will be received at the hearing.  Comments may be submitted in writing before the hearing, or they may be presented at the hearing orally or in writing.  Written statements and comments may be submitted to the SHPDA, 2201 Shannon Place, S.E., Sixth Floor, Washington, D.C. 20020, or by email to Dana Mitchener at the email address above.  The referenced application is available at the SHPDA for review.

Persons who wish to testify should contact Dana Mitchener at the email address above or the SHPDA on (202) 442-5875 before 4:45 p.m., by Wednesday, September 25, 2024.  Each member of the public who wishes to testify will be allowed a maximum of five (5) minutes.
