Red Carpet Entry Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Red Carpet Entry?
You get an appointment with an HIV care provider at one of the Red Carpet medical providers of your choice within one or two business days! It is that simple. You call and you get the appointment – no hassle or delay.

Who is eligible for Red Carpet Entry?
Red Carpet Entry is open to DC residents who are newly diagnosed with HIV and DC residents who used to be in HIV medical care but stopped going for some time and need to restart. You do not have to have health insurance to get HIV medical care.

How does Red Carpet Entry work?
Choose from one of the several Red Carpet Entry medical providers. Call one of the Red Carpet Concierges and say, “I’m calling for Red Carpet Entry” or “I’m calling for a new patient appointment.” It’s that quick and easy.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?
The following are needed for your appointment. If you have them, please bring:
• Documented HIV test results
• Proof of DC residency
• Proof of income
Please go to your appointment even if you do not have any or all of these items. You still get to see the provider! When you get there, tell them the special password that goes with provider to make sure you get the Red Carpet Service!
