Medicine Disciplinary Actions 2024

Suspended

Hoque, Mohammad (6/4/24) - The Physician’s license was suspended and reprimanded, in resolution of the 3/30/22 summary suspension, based on a Virginia action for criminal conviction of bribery and wire fraud.

Probation

Kumar, Asheesh (6/4/24) - The Physician’s 5/2/23 Consent Order was amended to approve reentry plan and impose supervisory reports. The original action was based on a Maryland action related to intoxication at work and employment termination.
 
Augustin, Jimmy (6/4/24) - The Physician’s license was placed on probation with a restriction from treating clients under the age of 18, based on a criminal conviction of sexual abuse of a minor.
 
Chatterjee, Neil (6/11/24) - The Physician’s 8/5/21 Consent Order was amended to approve the reentry plan and the practice supervisor monitor. Also imposes a PACE course. The original action was based on disclosure of substance abuse treatment

Termination

Cruz, Andrew (10/25/24) – The Physician’s 12/20/23 summary suspension was terminated due to Board resolution.

Nedd, Wilton (10/25/24) – The Physician’s 5/22/23 Consent Order was terminated due to satisfaction of the terms.

Uzomah, Ikenna (6/4/24) – The Physician’s 12/14/22 Consent order was terminated due to satisfaction of the terms.

Denied

Vuyyuru, Lokesh (3/15/24) – The Physician’s application for licensure was denied, based on having an encumbered license (revocation) in Virginia, due to multiple standard of care issues.

Summarily Suspended

Ratliff, Jonathan (12/19/24) - The Physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland action regarding inability to practice safely, due to substance abuse (alcohol).

Patel, Aman K. (11/14/24) - The Physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland action for harassment and sexual assault of four employees.

Cruz, Andrew (03/05/24) – The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on an Arizona action regarding substance abuse.

 

Disciplinary Action Taken

Powell, Steven (2/12/24) - The Physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Louisiana and West Virginia action regarding a felony conviction for healthcare fraud.
