Mayor Bowser to Recognize World AIDS Day, Will Sign Fast-Track Cities Declaration

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will sign the HIV Fast-Track Cities Declaration. The Declaration is based on the UNAIDS goals that will have the most profound impact on ending the HIV epidemic and includes a commitment to providing local leadership, fostering innovation and promoting health equity. Mayor Bowser will be joined at the signing by Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Brenda Donald, DC Department of Health Director Dr. LaQuandra Nesbitt and community leaders to recognize World AIDS Day.
