Arian Gibson serves as the Senior Deputy Director of the Environmental Health Administration. Previously, he held the position of Senior Deputy Director for the Health Regulation and Licensing Administration, where he made significant contributions to public health in the District.
Mr. Gibson began his career at DC Health over twenty years ago as a Sanitarian and has committed to lifelong learning and professional development. Throughout his tenure at DC Health, Mr. Gibson has led programs and initiatives in food safety, pool safety, medical marijuana, and community hygiene. As a highly motivated public health professional with experience in public health, management, policy, and regulation, Arian has served as a key policy advisor on city-wide initiatives including Re-Open DC, Public Restrooms, Interagency Homeless Encampments, Presidential Inauguration, and Strategies.
Mr. Gibson has served as Associate Director for the Office of Food, Drug, Radiation & Community Hygiene within HRLA and Associate Director for the Office of Health Professional Licensing Boards.
