 Summarily Suspended

Abassi, Rasheed A. – (3/29/16)  -  The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland suspension regarding unprofessional conduct, related to inappropriate access to patient files while under investigation. [Internal Medicine]

Dooley, Thomas – 4/11/16)  -  The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland suspension regarding failure to meet the standard of care related to his pain management treatment of 10 patients. [Family Medicine]

Williams Bryan S. (6/29/16) – The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland suspension regarding multiple complaints of inappropriate touch during patient examinations.  [Anesthesiology]

Nwankwo, Beniah (7/12/16) – The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Pennsylvania revocation regarding termination from a residency, and obtaining a license by fraud/misrepresentation.

Derakhshan, Iraj (8/30/16)- The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a West Virginia revocation related to criminal conviction regarding prescribing/selling/dispensing violations. [Neurology]

Nwankwo, Beniah (8/18/16)- The physician’s medical training license was indefinitely suspended based on a Pennsylvania revocation regarding termination from a residency, and obtaining a license by fraud/misrepresentation.
