The key focus of early childhood programs is to ensure that all children and families have access to a continuum of comprehensive, high-quality early childhood programs and services that promote child well-being and school readiness and ensure that all children are healthy, ready to learn and have safe passage through the early years. 

  • Home Visitation - To ensure that all children and families have access to a continuum of comprehensive, high-quality early childhood programs and services that promote child well-being and school readiness.
  • Project LAUNCH - (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health) is a 5-year initiative funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
  • Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems - The Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) project aims to address the needs of all children from birth through eight in the District of Columbia (DC)
