Washington, DC - The District of Columbia Department of Health (DOH) will host “Fight the Bite” community events to inform District residents on how to protect themselves from mosquito bites and how to prevent the spread of arboviruses, including the Zika virus. During the events, residents will receive educational materials and free Zika virus prevention kits (insect repellent, mosquito dunks and condoms). The “Fight the Bite” events will take place in all eight wards on Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 10 am to 1 pm.
