Notice of Public Hearing




Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 44-406(b)(4), the District of Columbia State Health Planning and Development Agency ("SHPDA") will hold an information hearing on UHS Capitol Acquisition, LLC (Certificate of Need Registration No. 22-2-5) Notice of Proposed Change of Effective Control for District Hospital Partners, L.P. d/b/a George Washington University Hospital.

The hearing will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. using WebEx Conferencing.  Please send an email to [email protected] to register for the Information Hearing and receive a link to the WebEx Conferencing.

The hearing will include a presentation by UHS Capitol Acquisition, LLC describing its plans and addressing the certifications required pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 44-406(b).  The hearing also includes an opportunity for affected and interested persons to testify.  Persons who wish to testify should contact the SHPDA at (202) 442-5875 before 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.  Each member of the public who wish to testify must register in advance of the Information Hearing and will be allowed a maximum of five (5) minutes.  Written statements may be submitted to:
