Uzomah, Ikenna (12/14/22) - The Anesthesiology Assistant's 3/29/21 summary suspension was lifted, and license is now placed on probation with terms, based on a DC hospital termination for diversion/theft of controlled substances. 

Hayes, John (8/15/22) – The physician was reprimanded and permanently prohibited from prescribing and dispensing opioids and benzodiazepines, and from recommending Medical Marijuana, based on a Maryland action regarding prescribing violations. 

Kumar, Asheesh (8/15/22) - The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Maryland action regarding intoxication while working and employment termination. 

Cao, Robert (8/8/22) – The physician’s license was revoked based on an arrest for unlawful distribution of opioids, resulting in a death.  

Dormu, Jeffrey (5/25/22) – The physician was reprimanded and fined for patient abandonment during surgery. 

Patel, Mitesh (5/18/22) – The physician’s license was suspended (stayed), reprimanded, and placed on probation with terms, based on sexual misconduct.

Riyaz, Farhaad (4/13/22) - The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Colorado action regarding a criminal conviction for wire fraud and moral turpitude. 

Hoque, Mohammed (3/30/22) - The physician’s license was summarily suspended based on a Virginia action regarding a criminal conviction for bribery and wire fraud.
