National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
The National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) initiative began in 1999 as a grass roots effort that aimed to raise the awareness regarding HIV and AIDS prevention, care and data-driven education in communities of color. As the challenges and solutions associated with HIV have evolved, NBHAAD has modified it's theme, focus, and methods of national support.

OraQuick Advance HIV-1/2 Rapid Test Workshop
Testing technology workshop will prepare participants to:
- be able to run OraQuick Advance external controls
- be able to collect an oral specimen and administer the OraQuick Advance HIV-1/2 Rapid test
- become familiar with the contents of the OraQuick Advance Product Inserts (PIs) for testing and controls
- learn what to do if there is a problem with testing and/or test kit controls.
Workshops are approximately three (3) hours.
