National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 2024
February 7 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD), which was first observed in 1999. This observance is a day to acknowledge how HIV disproportionately affects Black people.
Due to the extreme weather emergency, DC Vital Records and the DC Health and Wellness Center will open with a two-hour delay, starting at 10 am, on January 27, 2026.
