National Transgender HIV Testing Day 2016
Transgender communities in the United States are among the groups at highest risk for HIV infection. Many in the transgender (trans) community have been dismayed by the continued impact of HIV and AIDS on our trans sisters and brothers. We have worked hard to address the epidemic from within—with the limited resources we’ve been able to generate—to try to mitigate the loss of lives. HIV claims far too many of us, along with severe poverty, violence, joblessness, and stigma.
Marijuana Private Club Task Force Meeting

On Saturday, July 16, 2016, join the DC Department of Health (DOH) in all eight wards for an informative session on how to protect yourself and others from mosquito bites this summer. In addition to educational materials DC residents will also receive mosquito protection kits. Please see the attached flyer for more details and specific locations in each ward.
