Robin Diggs Perdue

Robin Diggs Perdue, MPH, Interim Senior Deputy Director, Community Health Administration (CHA)

Robin Diggs Perdue, MPH, is the Senior Deputy Director for the Community Health Administration.

Mrs. Perdue began her career at DC Health twenty years ago as a Graduate Intern and has committed to lifelong learning and professional development. Throughout her tenure at DC Health, she has led several initiatives focused on improving the quality of care in health systems, promoting healthy lifestyles through environmental changes, and community engagement to address health disparities. Her background also includes applied epidemiology/outbreak investigation and management, emergency preparedness and response, and data systems and policy development. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mrs. Perdue played a critical role serving as the COVID-19 Epidemiology Operations Chief overseeing the COVID-19 Contact Tracing Program.

Mrs. Purdue holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Spelman College and a master’s degree in epidemiology from George Washington University.
