This guidance is for household members, intimate partners, and caregivers in a nonhealthcare1 setting that may have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. If you are a household member, intimate partner, or caregiver (nonhealthcare setting) of a person with COVID-19, DC Health recommends that you follow the steps in this document to help prevent the spread of the virus in the home and community.
