Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children's Health) is a 5-year initiative funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The goal of Project LAUNCH is to promote the wellness of young children (0 – 8 years) so they can thrive in safe, supportive environments and enter school ready to learn. Project LAUNCH will bring local child-serving agencies together to coordinate and streamline policies and practices for families and children most in need, and to fill service gaps where they exist.
Services include:
- Developmental assessments in a range of child-serving settings
- Integration of behavioral health programs and practices into primary care
- Home visiting programs
- Mental health consultations
- Family strengthening and parent skills training
