In addition to the printed report, individuals can now produce customized charts and graphs through the use of HAHSTA’s interactive HIV statistics web tool based on the Tableau© software platform.  This tool can be accessed by clicking on the following link:

HAHSTA Interactive Data Dashboard

Note:    Methods and procedures for HIV surveillance have evolved over time.  Major milestones in the collection of HIV-related data within the District of Columbia include the move from code-based to name-based reporting in 2006; as well as the implementation of a more comprehensive laboratory reporting system in subsequent years. When methods of data collection change, the data requires time to mature and stabilize before comparisons between years are meaningful.

If you use any of the data provided on the dashboard, please include the following statement in any publication or release: “These data were provided by the Strategic Information Division of the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB Administration at the District of Columbia Department of Health. The Department specifically disclaims responsibility for any analysis, interpretations, or conclusions.”

Please contact the Strategic Information Division at (202) 671-4900 if you have any questions.
