Details:
This World AIDS Day, we remember all those we have lost and all those affected by the virus – and the selfless caregivers, advocates, outreach workers, and loved ones who have helped carry the burden of this crisis. We also rededicate ourselves to reducing HIV infections and related deaths by continuing our vital work toward ending this epidemic once and for all.
In addition to addressing the continued impact of HIV worldwide and the persistent inequities in access to HIV education, prevention, and treatment, we also need to confront the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on capacity to provide that education, prevention, and treatment.
