The District of Columbia Department of Health, 3rd Annual WIC National Breastfeeding Month Event will celebrate breastfeeding families, feature the importance of family support in breastfeeding and encourage work place support for mothers who are breastfeeding and going back to work. The event will include exhibits, plenary sessions, and break out educational sessions on breastfeeding topics. WIC and Healthy Start moms will be invited as well as Community organizations and partners.
