The DC Health and Wellness Center

At the DC Health and Wellness Center (DCHW) we are committed to our community and to helping people stay safe and healthy. The DCHW provides HIV/STD care and treatment in the District of Columbia and are a branch of the DC Government. We see patients regardless of insurance status.

Some types of appointments may be handled via telehealth visits. Currently we are offering the following services.

Routine HIV/STI Testing
Testing and treatment for patients with positive STI test results or STI symptoms
Emergency Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) (Call 202-299-3737)
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) starts and routine visits
Rapid HIV Anti-Retroviral treatment starts and routine visits
Sexual Health related Prescription refills
Assistance with benefits and access to other services

Hours

The DC Health and Wellness Clinic is open Mondays-Fridays from 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
Visits are available to DC Residents by appointment only during the following hours:

Monday 9 am to 3 pm

Tuesday 9 am to 3 pm

Wednesday 9 am to 3 pm

Thursday 9 am to 11:20 am

Friday 9 am to 3 pm

The Clinic is closed from 12pm-1pm each day for lunch.

To schedule an appointment please call the Clinic at 202-741-7692. The Clinic does not currently take walk ins, but we may have same day appointments available. If you walk in and there is a same day appointment available we will schedule you. Otherwise we will find the next available time and date for you to come back and be seen.
