  • Cecily Vivas
    Bio: Dr. Cecily Vivas is currently a pharmacist fellow at Clinical Pharmacy Associates. She completed her PharmD from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, Nevada and she has a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia State University. In 2016, Dr. Vivas started her pharmacy career as a pharmacy technician, and since then, her passion for pharmacy has grown and developed. Within her community in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Vivas actively advocated for her community by attending her state's Board of Pharmacy meetings and speaking on behalf of the impoverished community she served as well as through the Spanish Pathway Program at Roseman University. And now in the DMV region, She plans to continue serving in the capacity of active humanitarian for the BIPOC community."
     
  • Zemen Habtemariam
    Bio: Dr. Zemen Habtemariam, received His Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 2017. His prior experience in community, managed care, long-term care and clinical trial settings exposed him to multiple arms of the healthcare system where he worked to ensure drug safety and quality of care. He is licensed in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. He completed the Clinical Pharmacy Associates (CPA) Pharmacy Practice Fellowship from 2021-2022 and now serves as an Associate for CPA overseeing ADAP Medication Therapy Management services. Dr. Habtemariam has worked as the Pharmacist of Record on investigational drug trials at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Clinical Trials Center (WRAIR CTC) in Silver Spring, MD and at CBH Cenexel Health in Gaithersburg, MD. In addition, he coordinated transitions of care for atypical antipsychotic patients for Maryland Medicaid Peer Review Program and conducted comprehensive medication reviews for Spanish-speaking patients for Adhere Health. His interests include formulary management, clinical pharmacy, and clinical research.
