Worldwide: 

• 83 million lives saved since 2000
• 10.7 million people fell ill with TB in 2024*
• 1.23 million people died of TB in 2024*

In DC from 2019 - 2024:

• There have been 137 reported Tuberculosis (TB) Infections
• 2 in 3 were in Black People
• 3 in 4 were in foreign-born people
• 39% of TB cases were in people between the ages 25 - 44
