Registration as an addiction counselor will end on December 31, 2010.
Dear Addiction Counselor:
On December 31, 2010 your registration as an addiction counselor will end. Your registration is ending because on July 7, 2009 the Council of the District of Columbia passed legislation that ended the registration program and created certification for Addiction Counselors I and II and licensure for Advanced Practice Addiction Counselors.
