Washington, DC – The DC Department of Health (DOH) has officially joined the social media network Twitter! Residents can now receive regular health alerts, tips and news, as well as other important health information by following the health department @ DOHDC.

“DOH is very excited to join other government agencies in the effort to better reach and communicate with District residents,” said Dr. Pierre Vigilance, Director of DOH.  “We look forward to using Twitter to help stay connected with residents, and to assist in keeping them informed of important and current health issues.”
