Answer: Applications are processed within thirty (30) business days, however incomplete applications may increase processing time.

Question: Can a medial marijuana card be picked up in the office?
Answer: No, all cards shall be sent via first class mail.
Question: What is the price of the medical marijuana card?
Answer: The application fee is $100 or $25 if the patient qualify for low income status.
Question: What forms of payments are accepted?
Answer: Money orders and cashier's checks made payable to DC Treasurer are accepted. Debit and credit cards are accepted in person only.

Answer: No, medical marijuana cards issued by DC Health only authorize a patient to purchase from a DC regulated dispensary.

Answer: No, DC Health does not have any authority as it pertains to your employment. For best practices DC Health recommends you consult with your HR department regarding this matter.

Answer: DC Health accepts patients from qualifying jurisdictions . Non-resident patients must present their medical marijuana card/certificate and government issued photo ID to the dispensary.
